the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia filed a new case on cartel agreements in public procurement of Dell computers and Hewlett-Packard. As reported by the head of Department for combating cartels FAS Andrey Tenishev, the amount of trades covered by the cartel, reached 2.2 billion roubles, the correspondent of RBC. According to him, earlier the amount was estimated at 600 million rubles. the New case was opened on January 27.

As told by Tenishev, purchases, which were conducted in cartel agreements, was for the Pension Fund, Federal tax service and Federal customs service.

Violations could be committed in purchase of computers for the Central election Commission, explained Deputy head of FAS Andrey tsarikovskiy. In particular, on the auction purchases were no bargaining, the price dropped to a maximum of one step. In addition, the lots not claimed by the Russian producers by law have the advantage (15% to the price) to foreign companies.
According to the FAS, this behavior of the Russian dealers could be coordinated for foreign manufacturers.
