SOCHI, February 11. /TASS/. Russia continues to insist on full repayment of a debt of Belarus for gas. About it journalists were reported by Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak, confirmed the fact of meeting on gas between Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia and Belarus.
“Negotiations are continuing, the process is still ongoing. Discusses the different calculations, figures, options. In General, we consider the system of relations in the long term. With the unconditional understanding that debts for last year must be extinguished,” he said.
As reported, on Friday Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich held a meeting with his counterpart from Belarus Vladimir Semashko. Government delegation of Belarus headed by Semashko arrived in Moscow for talks on issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation.
