Russia and India discussed the construction of new reactors – BBC

Russia and India discussed the project for the construction of new nuclear reactors “Kudankulam”, reports RIA “Novosti» with reference to the general director of the joint Russian engineering company JSC “NIAEP” – “Atomstroyexport” Valery Limarenko.

«Indian colleagues have told us that they are preparing the site for interaction with the Russian Federation”, – said Limarenko during the program “Horizons atom” on the TV channel “Russia 24».

NPP “Kudankulam “built in India with Russian technical assistance. Customer on the project and the operator station serves Indian Atomic Energy Corporation. The erection of the second unit will soon be completed. “Kudankulam” is considered by far the most modern nuclear power plants.
