Iran will increase oil production to 4 million barrels per day despite a deal with OPEC – View

By the end of March this year Iran plans to increase oil production to 4 million barrels, although the agreement with OPEC Tehran requires not to exceed 3.79 million, according to the head of the Iranian national oil company Ali Kardar.

In December last year, Iran reached a record volume of petroleum exports to Europe, 0.9 million barrels per day.

the Official added that his opinion, by the end of the year, oil exports will reach 3 million barrels per day, TASS reports.

Note that in January Russia cut oil production to 117 thousand barrels per day, a total of participating in the agreement the oil-producing countries reduced production by 1.4 million barrels a day.

Earlier, the energy Ministry said that the agreement on the reduction of oil production is performed by all participants, and there is no doubt that the agreements will be fulfilled.

In the early years of OPEC and the 11 States that are not members of the organization have made commitments to reduce oil production.
