Source: Russia in 2017 will supply China 10 su-35 – TASS

MOSCOW, February 2. /TASS/. The second batch of 10 su-35 will be delivered to China this year, the remaining 10 in 2018. On Thursday, TASS reported a source in the military-technical cooperation of Russia with foreign States.

“The first four machines were delivered at the end of last year, and the second batch of 10 aircraft will be delivered this year”, – said the Agency interlocutor, adding that the final batch of 10 cars will be handed over in 2018.

the Federal service for military-technical cooperation (FSMTC) did not comment on this information.

In November 2016 Deputy Director of the FSMTC Mr Drozdov TASS reported that Russia has begun execution of the first stage of obligations under the contract with China for the supply of these fighters.

Russia and China in November 2015 signed a contract for 24 su-35. The cost of the agreement is estimated not less than in $ 2 billion, the agreement also includes delivery of ground equipment and reserve engines. As reported previously TASS source in the military-technical cooperation, the contract will be completed within three years.

su-35 – Russian multipurpose fighter of the 4++ generation, equipped with on-Board radar with a phased antenna array, and engines with thrust vector control. It can reach speeds of up to 2.5 thousand km/h, a range of reaches 3.4 thousand km, combat radius – about 1.6 thousand km of the Fighter is armed with a gun of 30 mm caliber and has 12 suspension points for missiles and bombs.
