Kommersant learned about the problems with the supply of imported medical products – clear Channel (Registration)

Some types of foreign medical products from the beginning of 2017 can’t get on the Russian market due to delays in registration of necessary documents, reports “Kommersant”.

According to the newspaper, since January, they cannot be traded on the Russian market due to the fact that suppliers do not have time to replace the registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor.

On the consideration of healthcare are now about 14 thousand identities that needed to be replaced. According to the Union “Medresurs”, in 2016, the Agency has issued only 800 registration certificates.

According to “Medresurs”, new documents are not received about 4 thousand medical products in the field of dentistry, and as a result “large dental companies, such as “Stomatorg”, “Recalled”, forced to withdraw from the sales of some goods”.

According to the Association of international manufacturers of medical devices (IMEDA), the number of companies from the beginning of 2017, “there is a difficult situation with imports and especially with the implementation of medical devices with older forms of registration certificates”. A survey of member companies of IMEDA showed that, on average, replaced about 10% of licenses and various areas, from hardware to surgical materials.

“Kommersant” notes that the main clients of these companies — state clinics and hospitals, and delays in issuance of identity might mean for them, the supply disruptions.
