MOSCOW, 4 Feb — RIA Novosti. the Rosselkhoznadzor plans to ban shipments of poultry and hatching eggs from Europe, where identified avian influenza, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Department Yulia Melano.
“we don’t Have exact dates yet, but we are considering the introduction of a ban in the next two weeks. It is primarily countries where outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza, in order to protect Russia,” — said in a few words.
Earlier, Russia suspended the import of live poultry, eggs and products containing poultry meat from Poland and parts of Germany. This was due to the avian influenza epidemic.
