Rosstat: Russia’s GDP declined for the 2016 0.2% – Росбалт.RU

Russia’s Economy at the end of last year fell 0.2 percent after a decline, according to revised estimates, is 2.8% in 2015, to the materials of the Federal service of state statistics.

“the Volume of Russia’s GDP in 2016, according to the first estimate, amounted in current prices 85 trillion 880,6 billion. The index of physical volume of GDP relative to 2015 amounted to 99.8%. The index-deflator of GDP in 2016 relative to 2015 prices amounted to 103,4%”, — stated in the message of Rosstat.

At the beginning of this year the Agency improved the rating on the dynamics of GDP in 2015 from 3.7% decline in the economy to 3%, and later — from 3% to 2.8%.

Earlier, Rosstat estimated the decline in GDP in the first quarter of 2016 by 1.2% yoy in the second quarter of 2016, and by 0.6% in the third quarter of 2016 — on 0,4%, and in General for 9 months of estimated decline in GDP of 0.7%. An assessment of the dynamics in IV quarter, the Agency has not yet led.

the Ministry of economic development (MED) of the Russian Federation had earlier suggested that Russia’s economy last year will lose 0.6 percent.
