U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry and Minister of foreign Affairs of great Britain, Boris Johnson called for increased economic pressure on Russia over the conflict in Syria, AP reports.

At a press conference following the meeting with Kerry in London, Johnson said that urges US and Europe to make Russia feel “the consequences” of its campaign in Syria.
Kerry confirmed that the U.S. is exploring the possibility of introducing additional sanctions. He also accused Russia that the country takes part in “crimes against humanity on a daily basis.”
Johnson at a press conference condemned the “horrible medieval siege” of Aleppo and expressed doubt that the Russian and Syrian troops can knock out the city’s armed opposition forces. In the Eastern part of Aleppo, according to him, stay ten thousand of its representatives.
