Photo: bestgreekfood.com The Greek government will appeal to Russia to lift the ban on the import of a number of agricultural products. So, Greece has proposed to lift the embargo on the supply of strawberries, peaches and oranges. Corresponding letter will be sent to the head of the Russian government Dmitry Medvedev.
In addition to these products, Greece would like to enter the Russian market with the supply of plants and animals.
Recall that in early August last year, Russia led restrictions on the import of food products from countries that have imposed sanctions against it. Thus ban touched beef, pork, poultry, sausages, fish, vegetables, fruit, dairy products and some other products.
Not so long ago Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that now the Russian authorities do not intend to lift the embargo on the import of food products from abroad.
