In the course of trading on the Moscow stock exchange the dollar for the first time since January 9, fell below 60 rubles. The euro exchange rate dropped to 68 rubles smoothly.
Around 13:00 Moscow time on the exchange value of the dollar fell to
59.6 rubles, then foreign currency slightly strengthened.
At the close of trading on Wednesday, the dollar stood at 61.38 rubles, euro
worth 69.74 rubles.
Meanwhile, the Bank of Russia set the official exchange rate on Friday. The euro fell to
2.19 rubles - up to 68.9797 rubles, the dollar decreased by 1.88 rubles - to
60.7109 rubles.
