NEW YORK, March 21. Residents of the Crimea, a year after joining the peninsula to Russia prefer Moscow to Kiev, writes American magazine Forbes.
“Polls show that local residents – Ukrainians, Russian and Crimean Tatars – are united in one thing: life with Russia better than life with Ukraine, “- said in the article publication.
Crimeans are happy where they are now, despite the desire to US and EU to save them from themselves, the magazine writes. “Despite the best efforts of Kiev, Brussels, Washington and the OSCE, the majority of Crimeans believe that a referendum on secession from Ukraine was legitimate,” – said Forbes.
