Moscow. 20 Nov. INTERFAX.RU – VTB increased its profit forecast for the year 2019 up to 235 billion from previous expectations of 200 billion rubles, said the head of the Bank Andrey Kostin in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24″.
VTB together with McKinsey prepares the group’s development strategy in 2017-2019.
Kostin said that the strategy laid the issues associated with the digitalization of banking, the introduction of new technologies, increasing the share of retail, a reduction in the cost of liabilities, increasing fee income, reducing costs and so on.
“Profit, even will exceed 200 billion
roubles, we are now doing calculations to 235 billion rubles. We have developed a three-year strategy, is a complex of activities, of course, we believe that the situation in the economy will match the forecasts, which make our government and the Central Bank”, – said the head of VTB.
