Sberbank knew where the coordination of cyber attacks on Russian banks, Kommersant

First Deputy Chairman of Sberbank Lev Khasis said that the company has managed to establish a place of coordination of DDoS attacks, which happened in the afternoon of November 10. “A DDoS attack that occurred last week, they were unusually strong, coordinated, conducted from different countries, all coordinated from one place… the Country from which all this happened is known to us”,— quotes “RIA Novosti” the words of the Lord against Khasis.

He did not elaborate on what kind of country is it, however, added that it was not the United States and Kazakhstan. Mr. Khasis added that the material detriment of the savings Bank has not suffered.

Informed a source close to the Central Bank, reported that five major Russian banks on Tuesday subjected to DDoS attacks.

SWIFT has announced the imminent introduction into service of the mechanism to protect banks and other clients of the system from fraudulent transactions.
