In the office of the Corporation “Rosnano” at present, law enforcement agencies carry out investigative actions, reports TASS.
As it became known, the investigative actions may be associated with delay of construction of the pharmaceutical complex “NT-Pharma” located in the Yaroslavl region.
“NT-Pharma” — a modern plant, its opening is scheduled for 2017. It needs to produce vital medicines, which is a private research company.
Investment in the construction of the plant “Rosnano” beginning in 2009, together with the pool of private co-investors. It is known that the share of “Rosnano” in the project is 49%.
According to the company, in the process of project implementation partners “Rosnano” had difficulties with the payment schedule, then the Corporation was suspended investment.
the Corporation said that in 2015, RUSNANO found a new private investor who has become interested in investments in “NT-Pharma” and bought a 35.5 percent stake in the company. The Board of Directors “Rosnano” also took the decision to continue funding its proportionate share of joint participation after it began to come into the project.
As stated in “Rosnano”, all actions of the Corporation passed a thorough legal examination and security check. All important decisions were approved by the Board of Directors of the company.
Construction of the plant is completed, and the installation and testing of equipment. In the message “Rosnano” it is stated that the investigating authorities will be given all the necessary information. The Corporation stressed that RUSNANO is interested in constructive cooperation with the investigation.
