The Central Bank revoked the licences of three banks in the capital region – RBC

the Bank of Russia withdrew the license for banking operations and appointed a temporary administration in two capital banks — OLMA-Bank and Bank “Metropol”, as well as in the suburban, the National mortgage Bank

Two capital banks — “Metropol” and OLMA-Bank — lost its license of Bank of Russia from November 18, reported on Friday on the website of the regulator. Metropol, by total assets on 1 November, who held the 377-th place in the Russian banking system, invested in low-quality assets and inadequately assessed in connection with these risks, said the regulator.

OLMA-Bank, occupying 611-e a place in the course of the year has repeatedly violated the banking legislation and normative acts of the Central Bank, the Bank allowed a reduction of capital below the minimum level, and the management of the credit institution have not taken measures to increase own funds, noted by the Central Bank.

Earlier on Friday, the Central Bank announced the revocation of the license in the Moscow region, the National mortgage Bank, which occupied the 375-th place, in connection with loss of capital.

All three banks are participants of system of insurance of contributions. Depositors of the Bank, including individual entrepreneurs, provides for the payment of the insurance indemnity in the amount of 100% of the remaining balance, but not more than 1,4 million rubles in aggregate per depositor.

the Agency on insurance of contributions (ASV) reported that payments to depositors of the three banks will start no later than December 2, 2016. The agent banks for operational applications and quick payments will be selected no later than November 24.
