Interjet returns in operation of the Russian SSJ-100 – Kommersant

the Mexican airline Interjet said on returning to operate the Russian aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100, the flights which were previously suspended due to “potential problems”. “After carrying out the necessary repairs Interjet began to return to operate 11 aircraft Superjet-100, which were on the ground after receiving instructions about their airworthiness from the Russian authorities”,— quotes “RIA Novosti” the statement of the company. In Interjet added that repair work was conducted by a group of specialists of the manufacturer JSC “Sukhoi Civil aircraft” and Interjet under the control of the main Directorate of civil aviation of Mexico.

the Carrier also said that the resumption of flights of the Russian liners will be a gradual operation already introduced six aircraft. “We expect that renovations will be finished before the planned term and until the end of January the Interjet fleet of 22 aircraft Superjet-100 will operate as usual, together with 48 Airbus to carry out more than 300 daily flights of the company”,— noted in the company.

Interjet has temporarily grounded 11 aircraft SSJ 100 at the end of December. The company “Sukhoi Civil aircraft” on the same day reported that the SSJ 100 have been tested.

December 23, Rosaviatsia demanded to check the stabilizers of the SSJ 100 aircraft in connection with the defect identified by one of the operators of aircraft. The defect was discovered, the airline “Iraero”.
