From February 1, insurance pensions to pensioners will increase by 5.4%, which will increase the average size of pension on 384 ruble — Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the corresponding decree. This year another is planned indexation of pensions to non-working pensioners: from April 1, 0.4%.

the Pension legislation of Russia requires to carry out the annual indexation of pensions in accordance with the achieved in the previous year the rate of inflation. But in 2016, this rule was grossly violated. Instead of increasing insurance pensions 12.9% (this was the official inflation in 2015) they are indexed only once: 1 February, 4%, and only for pensioners.

Signed by the head of the government on January 19 the ruling, which was promulgated on 23 January means a return to the usual rules of indexation of pensions: the figure of 5.4% fully compliant, according to Rosstat, inflation for the year 2016.

In the certificate attached to the document, States that “the increase from February 1 of insurance of pensions will affect all non-recipients insurance (30 million people), and about 450 thousand disabled military retirees receive along with a pension at state pension insurance old age pension”.

Recall: after indexing 4% in February 2016, the average insurance pension in Russia amounted to 13 200 rubles a month.

Together with the insurance pension from February 1, 2017 5.4% increase and a fixed payout, and again only at idle (this is stated in another decision of the government dated 19 January).

Now the base size of this appendage to the insurance pension or disability pension is approximately 4559 rubles, respectively, 4805 rubles.

Some categories, a fixed payment to the pension is put at a higher rate: those who have reached 80 years of age, full orphans, pensioners with disabled family members who have worked at least 15 years in the far North.

And some categories under the law to pay pension at a lower rate: disabled people of the III group, for example, a fixed payout is 50% of base value. Pension Fund expenses growth fixed payout in 2017 will be about 99 billion rubles.

This is not the last indexation of insurance pensions in 2017. From 1 April, according to Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, is scheduled recalculated upwards by a further 0.4%: the fact that the budget of the Pension Fund laid the money on the indexation in the amount of 5.8% (so the expected rate of inflation for 2016), and these funds, too, decided to spend.
