the Ministry of Antimonopoly regulation and trade of Belarus has approved the tariffs for transportation of Russian oil for the current year. Previously higher tariffs were set only until March 31, 2017

Belarus has established tariffs for the transit of Russian oil through the territory of the Republic for the current year, reversing the earlier decision of their action to 31 March 2017. This follows from the decision of the Ministry of Antimonopoly regulation and trade (MARCH), available on the national legal Internet portal of Belarus.

the document says that the decree of December 30, 2016 “On tariffs for oil transportation through trunk pipelines located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus” excluded words “and is valid to 31 March 2017″. The decision dated January 18.

January 5 MARCH issued a decree on increase in tariffs for oil transportation through the territory of Belarus. It was supposed to come into force on 1 February 2017 and to operate on March 31. According to the document, transportation of oil via trunk pipelines of OJSC “Gomeltransneft Druzhba” on the route Unecha (High) — Adam Zastava was set at 287,90 rubles per ton without VAT (previously 267,32 RUB). Transportation of ton of oil on the route Unecha (Vysokoye) — Brody will be 123,66 RUB is RUB 114,82 Thus, the tariffs for transportation on two routes increased by about 7.7%.

prior To this, the tariffs for transportation of Russian oil through Belarus were increased on 1 February 2016.

Belarus has unilaterally decided to increase tariffs on the transit of oil by 1.5 times in October of 2016. The solution was to enter into force on 11 October 2016. However, the day before that the Vice-Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said that the Belarusian side cancelled the decision on increase of tariffs in exchange for the restoration of oil supplies from Russia to Belarus.

In late December of last year “Transneft” declared that the Russian company believes that economically justified the increase of tariffs for oil transportation through the territory of Belarus from February 1, 2017. As reported the adviser of the President of “Transneft” Igor Dyomin, on 23 December the company sent to Minsk their proposals on the size of the tariff for pumping oil in 2017.

According to the Chairman of Belneftekhim concern Igor Lyashenko, the question of the tariff for transit of oil was seen on 27 December during a meeting of the Belarusian delegation with representatives of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia. “We put their studies and want to increase the rate of 20.5%,” — said Lyashenko on December 28, noting that the Russian side insists on raising the rate to around 5.5%.
