the Debt of Belarus for already supplied Russian gas has reached $ 550 million, said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. He said that this amount was based on calculations of the Russian side.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Belarus has not paid for the received Russian gas in the amount of $ 550 million.

“In our opinion, approximately $ 550 million According to our calculations”, — TASS quoted Dvorkovich response to a reporter’s question.

According to Deputy Prime Minister, progress in the negotiations on this issue is missing.

“the Argument does not change, the solution, but have not yet found mutually acceptable. But in any case, we insist on paying in full last year for the formula that was earlier,” — said Dvorkovich and added that the negotiations between the parties continue.

In December 2016 Dvorkovich said that Russia returned to Belarus advance payment for Russian natural gas. “We do not expect payment in advance, we didn’t need a down payment,” — said he then specified that the payment was returned back to Belarus.

Minsk, in turn, said that in 2015 in the framework of the intergovernmental agreement, the parties agreed to reduce the price of Russian gas from $ 132 to 73 per 1 thousand cubic meters.

the Contract price for Belarusian consumers “Gazprom” ($ 132 per 1 thousand cubic meters. m) intergovernmental agreement of 2011 is calculated in dollars as the sum of the price of gas in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (about $ 36 at the exchange rate on 1 January), transportation to Belarus (about $ 90) and storage in UGSF in Russia (about $ 6). But Minsk wants to pay “market price”, which counts as the cost of gas on the German market minus the cost of transportation for Polish ($ 9 for 1 thousand cubic metres) and Belarusian ($ 12 for 1 thousand cubic meters) sections of the gas pipeline Yamal — Europe, and also export duties (30%).

Moscow had to go to the “market price” in 2015 in the framework of the intergovernmental agreement, according to Belarusian officials. Representatives of the Russian government, by contrast, emphasized that this transition is not a duty, but only the intention. And since Russia has not yet switched to the “market price” of the indebtedness of the Belarusian enterprises, which from the beginning of the year I decided to pay the new price (below the contract), was for may 2016 approximately $ 125 million, said then Minister of energy Alexander Novak.

in addition, as the newspaper “Kommersant”, the Ministry of energy of Russia intends by 12% to cut oil supplies to Belarus in the first quarter of 2017. According to interlocutors of the edition, the Russian Agency gave the Belarusian side a new delivery schedule on December 28. According to the document, the volume of deliveries in the first three months of 2017 will amount to 4 million tons instead of the projected 4.5 million T.

the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko ordered to compensate the reduction of oil supplies from Russia through “alternative options.”
