The volume of electricity exports from Russia to the CIS countries fell by 45% – RBC

For the first six months of 2016 the volume of electricity exports from Russia to the CIS countries decreased by 45%, according to a report by the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

Russia has delivered to the CIS in the first half of 2.032 billion kWh. electricity. Revenues from exports in the CIS for the period totaled $ 81.1 million.

In this case, the volume of deliveries to CIS countries increased by 1.6% to 6.11 billion kWh. The total supply cost of $ 206.8 million.

In January-May 2016, compared to the same period in 2015, the volume of electricity exports from Russia fell by 23.4% and amounted to 6.57 billion kWh.
