ABII Transactions and the New Development Bank is no longer subject to prior approval – TASS

MOSCOW, September 1st. / TASS /. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree according to which the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (ABII) and the New Development Bank entered the list of international financial organizations, which deals with the participation not subject to prior approval. The corresponding document is available on the government website.

The article notes that a number of international financial institutions (such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) suspended operations in Russia.

“For the Asian Development Bank Infrastructure New investment and development bank plans to create favorable conditions for their operations in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, in particular in Eastern Siberia and the Far East “, – the document says. Also it emphasizes that the implementation of the order will expand the list of international financial organizations, for which the simplified procedure for the implementation of the transactions planned in Russia.

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank was established on the basis of an agreement between 57 countries. The new Development Bank was established on the basis of an agreement between the BRICS: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The authorized capital of each of these banks is 100 billion US dollars.
