Medvedev ordered to reduce the number of business inspections – RBC

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a government session on Thursday announced that signed decree according to which a 2017 numbers business checks in sanitary and epi demiological and fire control, as well as in the field of communications drop in connection with the introduction of a risk-oriented approach to business checks in these areas.

In 2017, the intensity and form of checks for three types of supervision will depend on the extent risk on a particular object. All checked items will be divided into six categories of risk. Objects of the first, second and third classes of danger – high risk – will be subject to regular scheduled inspection. According to the resolution, these include, for example, organizations operating high radiation hazardous and nuclear hazardous industries and facilities.

At the enterprises of middle and moderate-risk routine checks can not be carried out more frequently than once during the period It provided the specific form of state control. A sixth class of hazard objects will be exempt from the planned inspections.

The resolution was prepared by the Economic Development Ministry. The amendments to the law “On protection of rights of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the exercise of state control (supervision) and municipal control” suggest that with January 1, 2018 all the bodies of state control will be required to go the risk-oriented approach.
