Topilin promised the Russians that wages will grow – Росбалт.RU

the Minister of labour and social protection of Russia Maxim Topilin in an interview to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” said that the Russians expect growth in both real and nominal wages.

“Wages, according to our estimates, will increase. Not only the nominal, but real. By the end of 2016 we will likely see a rise in real wages, because since August, a positive trend towards their increase”, — he said.

According to Topilin, role in the process of growth of wages will play and the implementation of decrees of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about increase of salaries in the public sector.

“of Course, the President’s decrees on wage increases in major categories of public sector employees are met. To do this, provided all the necessary resources. The work is done with regional bodies of Executive power”, — said the Minister.

Topilin said that the growth of unemployment in Russia is not expected. “I think that unemployment will not grow, most likely, it will oscillate under the indicators 2016. At least today there are no preconditions for a sharp change in the situation,” he said.

in Addition, the labor Minister added that in 2017 the Russian authorities plan to “put an end” to the question of whether the funded part of pensions voluntary or mandatory.
