the Newspaper says that about 10 billion cubic meters of Russian gas a year, buy Turkish private companies Akfel Gas, Enerco Enerji Avrasya gaz, Bosphorus gaz, Kibar and Bati Hatti Enerji. Gazprom supplies about 17 billion cubic meters per year Botas Turkish state. Trial with Botas is from October 2015, because a Turkish company wants to reduce the cost of gas supplies.

“Kommersant” writes that the Russian gas price for Turkish private importers is lower than for Botas, as it can supply gas to the subsidized domestic market. According to the agreement of 2016, Gazprom and private importers may revise the pricing, but if the parties do not agree, remain informed by the accepted conditions.

According to the interlocutor of the newspaper, “Gazprom” has invited private importers to establish a temporary price for 2017, which is above the price in 2016. The Russian company wants to take this step at the time of trial with Botas. However, Turkish importers have refused the offer of a price increase even if receiving retroactive discounts from the beginning of 2017. The newspaper’s source says that “Gazprom” intends to go to court, because low, according to the company price for private importers in 2017, not only entails economic losses, but also undermines its position in the dispute with Botas.

the Turkish newspaper’s sources believe that a serious impact on the position of the Russian monopoly had the nationalization of the largest private importer Akfel, on whose account, according to the newspaper, about 20% of all deliveries of Russian gas to Turkey.

In “Gazprom” information about plans to file lawsuits did not comment.

Turkish Botas has filed a lawsuit against Gazprom in October 2015. The company asked to renegotiate the price of Russian gas, purchased 29 December 2014. The Russian company has considered the effect of Botas standard practice. This is one of the options to resolve a dispute about the discount on gas, said in an interview with RBC official representative of “Gazprom” Sergei Kupriyanov.
