In accordance with the order of FAS of Russia dated 23 December 2016 number 1835/16, the tariffs for railway passenger transportation in the regulated segment (couchette and General cars plying on domestic routes, as well as in railcar rolling stock of trains of JSC “Federal passenger company”) from January 1, 2017 will be indexed by 3.9% to 2016.

in addition, for the further development of passenger transport and improve the quality of services provided by the Government of the Russian Federation adopted the decision to reduce VAT rates for JSC “Federal passenger company” in 2017 to 0%. Pursuant to this decision, the FAS were also prepared the corresponding order. The released funds of JSC FPC will send to the decreased need for state subsidies and rolling stock. According to the forecast of the company 0% rate will allow you to purchase more than 100 new passenger cars.

For JSC “FPC” in 2017, extended the right of regulation of tariffs in the cars within the specified level. This gives you the opportunity to develop a special tariff conditions, allowing passengers to purchase tickets at a discount. In total for 2017 213 days tickets will be sold at a discount.

the Tariffs for passenger transportation in compartment cars, SV cars and Luxury trains of formation of JSC FPK, plying on domestic routes, from 1 January 2017 increased by 5% to 2016. Indexation will apply only to fares on trains that are not included in the dynamic pricing system. Currently running system is about 75% of the trains of JSC “FPC”. Thus, when pre-buying of tickets passengers can purchase them at prices lower than 2016.
