Aeroflot opens flight from Sochi to Crimea – TASS

SIMFEROPOL, January 2. /Offset. TASS Tatyana Kuznetsova/. Russian airline “Aeroflot” on Monday is launching a new flight that connects the capital of Crimea with the popular Russian resort of Sochi, informs the international airport of Simferopol.

“New line Aeroflot Sochi – Simferopol connects the most popular Russian resorts at the black sea coast, which are highly in demand not only in the summer, and will provide unprecedented opportunities for travel in the South of Russia, with direct links to the airports of Moscow aviation hub”, – stated in the message of the airport.

Flights from Simferopol to Sochi will be performed daily, for the carriage of passengers “Aeroflot” has used aircraft Russian-made Sukhoi Superjet 100.

Earlier official representative of “Aeroflot” reported TASS, the airline plans to open daily flights from Sochi to Simferopol and back from January 20, 2017

According to the company “Basel Aero”, which manages airports in Krasnodar region, the flights from Sochi to Crimea are already two airlines. So, “Ural airlines” since the end of October perform flights on the route Simferopol – Sochi – Samara on airplanes of the Airbus A320 on Mondays and Fridays. From October 30 to another airline, “Orenburg” – flying from Sochi to Simferopol on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, on the L410 aircraft. Flights are carried out in the framework of the project for the connection of the passenger message of the Crimea and Sochi, and also development of the route network inside Russia.
