Putin signed the law on the freezing of indexation of the parent capital by 2020 – the View

President Vladimir Putin signed a law suspending the indexation of the size of the parent capital till 2020 and the size of the cumulative contribution of participants of the mortgage system of the housing provision for servicemen.

Adopted by the state Duma on 9 December and approved by the Federation Council on 14 December, the law was published Tuesday on the Kremlin website.

the Document also predusmatrivaet, starting in 2018, a uniform order of indexation of social benefits once a year from 1 February 2016 on the basis of the index of growth of consumer prices for the previous year.

the rate of indexation is determined by the Cabinet.

according to the newspaper VIEW, the labor Ministry proposed to suspend until 2020 indexation of the parent capital due to the difficult financial-economic situation in the country. In late September, the Ministry reported that the government has decided not to index the parent capital in 2017.
