“Gazprom Neft” plans to cut production by 2.7% in the first half of 2017 – the Dukes – Oil of Russia

“Gazprom Neft” intends to cut production by 2.7% in the first half of 2017, reported today the TV channel “Russia 24″ the head Alexander Dyukov.

“If we talk about planning our production schedule for the first half of next year, we do believe that what comes out of the Russian Federation, and all the other companies. We plan to reduce the volume of production is approximately 2.7% of the average daily production of October,” he said.

“It is the reduction of the production of each company will allow Russia to cut production by 300 thousand barrels per day,” added the Dukes.

In late November at the summit of OPEC for the first time in eight years, it was decided to cut oil production to 32.5 million barrels per day. Then on 10 December in Vienna OPEC and outside the cartel countries signed an agreement on production cuts. It announced in November to reduce OPEC at 1.164 million barrels per day in the first half of next year, will be joined by 11 countries, which will reduce production by another 558 thousand barrels per day. Thus, the total reduction of oil production will total 1.7-1.8 million barrels per day.

Russia in the first half of next year will reduce oil production by 300 thousand barrels per day. In March, Russia will reduce production to 200 thousand barrels per day, and by the end of April will be released on the reduction in volume of 300 thousand barrels a day.

Russia’s energy Minister Alexander Novak reported that the company producing about 90% of oil in Russia, confirmed their willingness in the first half of 2017 to voluntarily reduce production in proportion to their shares relative to October 2016, the monitoring of emission reductions will be carried out twice a month. According to him, the reduction will be in proportion to the production volumes of companies and conditions for all will be equal.
