CB connected to blocking phishing sites – RBC

the Bank of Russia announced the agreement with Coordination center of national domain of network the Internet (KTS), acting as administrator of the national domains .RF and .EN. Under the agreement, KTS will block malicious Internet resources on the basis of Central Bank data.

“the Bank of Russia has received the status of the competent authority entitled to identify the sites-infringers that distribute malware, the resources with illegal content. New powers will help the Bank of Russia to protect personal data and money of the citizens against encroachments from the cyberhawks”, — stated in the message of the Central Bank.
