Valery Sharks – Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation told reporters that the airline «Red Wings» until the end of the year will receive about 400 million rubles of state subsidies for the implementation of the carriage of passengers on flights from St. Petersburg and Moscow in the direction of the Republic of Crimea. The Deputy Minister noted that receive government subsidies have the right to those airlines which are in the registry aircrafts manufactured in Russia. Currently in Russia airline «Red Wings» is the only one that provides flights on Russian aircraft, so it turns out that no alternative choice.
Also, the official added that now many flights in the direction of the Crimea from the Russian regions receive government subsidies, and flights from St. Petersburg and Moscow still not subsidized. The Deputy Minister said that the government plans to include the Russian Federation to take appropriate decision before the end of September.
