The representatives of Russia, Ukraine and the European Union will meet next week, 2 or 3 October to discuss a new package of agreements on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian gas issue. In an interview with the TV channel “Russia 24″ said Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
According to him, all the agreements reached at the Berlin meeting on 27 September will be formulated in a few days, in writing. “Sometimes it happens that set forth in the written agreement differ from the previously announced verbally,” – said Novak.
Next, this package will be sent to all participants in the negotiations for further harmonization. “I hope that on Thursday or Friday we will be able to meet again for a final decision,” – said the head of the Ministry of Energy.
Earlier it was reported that the outcome of tripartite talks on September 27 the parties failed to reach agreement on some issues. In particular, Ukraine has committed to pay to “Gazprom” to repay the debt for gas supplied earlier of $ 3 billion. $ 2 billion should be listed before the end of October 2014, and another $ 1.1 billion – by the end of 2014.
