Rogozin told about the Russian anti-aircraft missiles of new generation – Lenta.ru

Concern Aerospace Defense “Almaz-Antey” has developed a new anti-aircraft missiles for the Navy and the Russian Ground Forces. This was announced on his Facebook page Deputy Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

According to the vice-premier, the company introduced the board of the Military-Industrial Commission (MIC) of Russia, which is chaired by Rogozin himself, the test results of the family of anti-aircraft missiles of the new generation. Any details he had not.

In June 2016, “Almaz-Antey” announced the successful testing of a new anti-aircraft complex medium-range “Buk-M3.” Shooting at the Kapustin Yar firing range in the Astrakhan Region conducted a ballistic target, which acts as a missile target “pince-nez”. The first brigade set SAM “Buk-M3″ will be transferred to the military in 2016.

Now the Russian army passed version of the complex 9K317 “Buk-M2″ (put into service in 2008) to increase the range of lesions, number of simultaneously engaged targets and maximum speed of the intercept target. New missile systems “Buk-M3″ has increased range (up to 70 km) and altitude (up to 35 km).
