Dmitry Medvedev visited Usolye Siberian industrial enterprises – Mail.Ru

Prime Minister Russia Dmitry Medvedev during his working trip visited in Usolye Siberian industrial sites Usoliekhimprom and Chemical and Pharmaceutical plant, reported in Press Service the government of the Irkutsk region.

Earlier in forming enterprise Usoliekhimprom included 11 technical workshops and a number of auxiliary units. Now all the main production facilities mothballed. In the near future it is planned to create an industrial park “Cluster HIMPROM Usolye” chemical, metallurgical and engineering industries in general processing chain. It is also planned placement park “Business Park Usolye” for small and medium-sized businesses that will use intermediate products and products in production processes.

Also, the prime minister visited July 22 Chemical-Pharmaceutical plant, which provides a synthesis of high purity substances that serve as the basis for a range of drugs, such as analgin, sulfadimetoksin, chloramphenicol, phenyl salicylate, cystamine, clonidine, and other nozepam. Now the plant – the only enterprise in Russia, producing phenobarbital. In November 2014 “Usolye Siberian chemical-pharmaceutical plant” was a part of the pharmaceutical cluster.

According to the agency TASS, the company’s management appealed to Dmitry Medvedev for help in solving the issue of licenses for the production of another drug.

During the meeting, Dmitry Medvedev invited the heads of enterprises actively involved with their investment projects in the federal and regional programs.
