“Gazprom” has set a new record of supply of gas to Europe – 597,9 cubic meters a day – TASS

MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. Gazprom on 11 November for the sixth time this autumn recorded a new historical maximum daily amount of gas deliveries in the far abroad – 597,9 million cubic meters, said the Russian gas holding.

“the Increase compared to November 10, when it was installed the previous record was 6.2 million cubic meters, which is comparable with the current daily volume of deliveries in several European countries, e.g. in Croatia or Denmark,” – said in the message.

According to “Gazprom” in January – October of 2016, the company increased gas supplies to foreign countries 10% compared with the figure for the same period last year. In absolute terms, the increase was of 13.05 billion cubic meters. m. thus, gas supplies in Germany grew by 7.5% (2.75 billion cubic meters), UK – by 54.6%, France – by 20.4%, to Austria – by 27.5%, in Greece – 47.3%, in Holland – at 91.8%, to Denmark – on 149,4%, to Poland – by 16.7%.

“Gazprom” in 2015, increased gas export to far abroad countries in comparison with the previous year by 8% to 159,4 billion cubic meters.

Earlier, the head of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller said that the export of the holding company in Europe by the end of 2016 could exceed 170 billion cubic meters, he has not ruled out maintaining high volumes of gas exports in 2017.
