Russian Direct Investment Fund (RFPI) and the Chinese company China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) will create a fund for lending to Russian companies in the amount of $ 2 billion.

According to RBC head RFPI Kirill Dmitriev, with the help of the new fund is planned to increase lending to Russian companies by Chinese banks several times.

In an interview with the newspaper “Vedomosti” Dmitriev said that the new mechanism of Chinese banks may be held about 20-25 billion dollars over two to three years.

It is expected that an agreement will be signed on Friday during a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

According to Dmitriev , the fund will amount to 2 billion dollars; Russian Direct Investment Fund and its partners have already signed a commitment to pay these funds in the fund.
