Ukraine dropped by 11 positions in the ranking of competitiveness of countries – RYBINSKonLine

International Institute for Management Development (International Institute for Management Development, IMD) this week published an annual ranking of the competitiveness of the leading economies in the world.

Most of the Asian economies that have gone down in the ranking, faced with fall in GDP, but also with aging and deteriorating infrastructure. Brazil and South Africa also fell, but less noticeable: South American country went down by two notches, once on the 54th place, the African descended from 52 to 53 positions. The TOP-10 ranking of competitiveness IMD also included Canada, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.

Just ranking IMD represented 61 countries. It takes into account several aspects of each country as a place of business and reflects the more than 300 criteria. Second place went to Hong Kong. Russian also lost its position, dropping from 38th to 45th place.
