Sberbank declined to work in the Crimea and Sevastopol – BFM.Ru

Gref as president of the Savings Bank will remain until November 2019

The head of Sberbank German Gref at the annual shareholders’ meeting said that the credit institution will not work in the Crimea and Sevastopol, writes «Novaya Gazeta».

«It is not permissible in terms of sanctions. We still do not work in these areas, “- said Gref.

In addition, during the shareholders’ meeting it was decided to leave the German Gref as president of the Savings Bank before November 2019.
