Previously, the company owning the tank farm said that the cause of emergency could be arson. In fact the state of emergency instituted two criminal cases, the purpose of which is to clarify the causes of the fire and the identification of the people responsible for the construction of storage facilities in the immediate vicinity of the military unit.

A major fire at the tank farm area started 8 June ignition fuel tank volume of 800 cubic meters (capacity – 650 tons). According to the latest reports, the fire affected 12 people, 5 – died, 10 – were hospitalized. Currently, firefighters continue to fight the fire.
