The situation in the Russian economy is better than expected, the Russian government in late 2014. This was stated during the SPIEF 2015 Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, reports portal «the Banki.ru» .
«The economic situation is better than we expected at the end of 2014″, – Shuvalov said. Meanwhile, the official admitted that the current economic situation is not as good as we would like.
Recall that Russia’s GDP in the I quarter decreased by 2.2%, while inflation exceeded 16%.
According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Russian economy will shrink by 3.2% this year, while inflation will drop to 10.8%.
