Authorities figured out how to tax the 22.5 million “self-employed” Russian citizens – a REGNUM

Moscow, June 9, 2015, 20:44 – REGNUM Interdepartmental Working Group of the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of the business ombudsman Boris Titov invented a new way of taking money from the Russian citizens. Officials have developed a new kind of tax that is supposed to impose the order of 22.5 million self-employed citizens of the Russian Federation.

Officials have been given the task – to press the citizens of the Russian Federation as much tax. They invented how to do it. The interdepartmental team found that under the concept of self-employment falls about 40 types of activities, including: small domestic services (shoe repair, clothing, and a photo studio etc.), child care (babysitting at home), translation, bakery and milk production for sale (grandmother in the villages sell milk to the neighbors to pay taxes), retail trade fairs and agricultural markets, tutoring, aquaculture and fisheries, transport services passengers and cargo, and more.

It is assumed that citizens engaged in such activities will have to get at the Federal Tax Service of the special patent for this or that type of activity, which will be made out for a month or a year, and be subject to a one-off tax.

The issue of additional taxation of everything arose in the context of the need to supplement the budget of the Pension Fund and the Fund of obligatory medical insurance. Previously, even offered to introduce a tax on parasitism, but so far in this respect there is no single opinion.
