“Gazprom” has sent “Naftogaz” offer to the Additional Agreement contract – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, June 29 – RIA Novosti / Prime. “Gazprom” to the right in “Naftogaz Ukraine” the offer on signing a supplement to the existing contract of sale and purchase of natural gas in 2009-2019, respectively, reported information management of “Gazprom”.

Earlier Monday, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev met with Energy Minister Alexander Novak and the head “Gazprom” Alexei Miller to discuss gas relations with Ukraine. Medvedev said that the Ukrainian side has officially appealed to Russia for granting discounts. The Russian government has decided to provide a discount for the third quarter. As a result, the price of Russian gas for Ukraine (after discounts) in this period amount to 247.17 dollars per thousand cubic meters. That is the same as it was in the second quarter.
