The Supreme Court will hear the appeal on a floating exchange rate – Arguments and Facts

Moscow, January 6 – AiF-Moscow.

A complaint to the floating exchange rate applied to the Supreme Court a former employee of the Central Bank Andrey Cherepanov, according to RIA Novosti , with reference to the press service of the court.

 
 

«Abuse Andrey Cherepanov accepted for review and will be considered by the court on February 17,” – said the representative of the court.


 
 

as a defendant in the case declared the Russian State Duma, which took note of the direction of credit policy of the Bank of Russia, and thus, according to the applicant, endorsed the action of the Central Bank on the introduction of a floating exchange rate of the national currency.


 
 

Cherepanov also appealed to the Tver Court of Moscow with a lawsuit against the Central Bank itself. The statement was not taken into consideration, since the Central Bank is in the territory, lack of jurisdiction of the Tver court.


 
 

Recall the dollar and the euro in the first trading day of the new year on the back of cheap oil rose more than 3 rubles to the level of 59.35 rubles and 71.95 rubles, respectively.
