Belarus has suspended meat supplies to Russia – TVNZ

Belarus suspend exports to the Russian production of nine of the enterprises producing feed for animals and meat products, according to the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

As noted in the press release, this is the Russian side informed by letter the Deputy Minister of agriculture and food, chief State veterinary inspector of the republic Alexander Subbotin.

in the above letter enterprises revealed violations that led to the release of non-conforming Rosselkhoznadzor products being tested. Veterinary certificates erring firms until will not be issued.

In early June, Vladimir Putin , speaking at a forum of Russian and Belarusian regions in the Minsk , said that Russia is interested in increasing direct supply of agricultural and livestock products from Belarus.
