The Ministry of Construction and Housing offered to banks to provide soft loans for the overhaul of buildings. This was announced by head of department, Mikhail Men, reports

The minister said that banks should prepare a special loan product for the overhaul, because “today means taking a loan, for example, homeowners get expensive.” The ministry noted that lending rates HOA reach 17-20%. The optimal level of loan rates should not exceed 10%, says the head of the Ministry of Construction.
According to the minister, the people will pay for the repair of the same as today, but it can be done at once, rather than in 10-15 years. The Ministry of Construction also expect that credit growth will positively impact on the construction materials industry, as well as contractors.
Bankers and experts, whose opinions leads edition, noted that the Ministry of Construction of the right initiative, but lower interest rates will not be able to 10% without state subsidies such loans.
