Minvostokrazvitiya: In the Far East, formed a cluster of fish processing – Mail.Ru

Minvostokrazvitiya Russia signed an agreement with the Federal Agency for Fisheries of the establishment in the Far Eastern federal District fish processing cluster. Just four regions – Khabarovsk, Primorye, Kamchatka Krai, Sakhalin region – have given official approval for its accession to this agreement, Rigma.info reported in press service Minvostokrazvitiya

In accordance with. agreement, the creation of a fish processing cluster has several objectives related to the development of fishery industry of the Russian Far East. Among the main objectives: improving the sector’s contribution to GDP of the Russian Federation due to the growth of production with high added value and development of related industries; growth in the volume of private investments in processing facilities, as well as in objects of fisheries infrastructure; increasing the availability of Far Eastern fish production in the domestic market and increase the cost of products supplied for export

The participants of the cluster may be federal and regional executive authorities.; legal entities and entrepreneurs, implementing or intending to implement projects in the field of production and logistics of products of living aquatic resources; industry associations and unions; scientific and educational institutions; financial institutions, development institutions and so on. d. Participation in the cluster is gratuitous.

Ministry for Development of Russian Far East will provide state support for investment projects of cluster members, including by attracting financing JSC “Fund for development of the Far East” and other development institutions, to assist in providing businesses the necessary infrastructure, to assist in the localization of the cluster members to create industries in the territories of priority development and free port Vladivostok.

Rosrybolovstvo its part will assist in the development of ports and fisheries cluster infrastructure will ensure the improvement of supervisory and control activities in the field of fisheries, aimed at improving the investment attractiveness of the fish processing projects with high added value, and will also assist in addressing scientific issues and staffing activities of cluster members.

The regions of the Far Eastern federal District, gave the consent to join the cluster, will attract new cluster members on the territory of the region, as well as provide support to ensure the cluster members land and necessary infrastructure.
