Yatsenyuk complained to the EU “illegal” contract “Gazprom” Slovakia – TVNZ

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk addressed an official letter to the European Union with the requirement to check the contract between the Slovak pipeline operator Eustream and «Gazprom».

The politician said that the deal violates EU law, as prevents reversal of gas Ukraine, writes Reuters.

It is reported that the document attached to the letter of the law firm Wikborg Rein, which states that “Gazprom” allegedly impedes the work of “Ukrtransgaz” as a transmission system operator.

Kiev has repeatedly appealed to Slovakia for permission Reverse deliveries through the pipeline Uzhgorod – Welke – Kapushany, but the company refuses Eustream, referring to the agreement with «Gazprom».

Yatsenyuk insists that the reverse gas from Slovakia will enable Ukraine to end the dependence on “Gazprom” and all the gas imported from the EU.
