The Eurogroup announced an “open door” for new talks with Greece – RBC

The head of the Eurogroup Jeroen Deysselblum after a meeting in Brussels at which it was decided not to renew the program of aid to Athens, said that « the door to any other open negotiations,” reports Le Figaro. In addition, according to him, Tran eurozone are ready, if necessary, to support Greece, after the end of the program of financial aid.

Deysselblum criticized the decision of the Greek government to organize a referendum on the terms of the European creditors and stressed that the eurozone countries were aimed at to maintain the financial stability of the euro area, using all the tools at the disposal.

In turn, the French Finance Minister Michel Sapen after the meeting said that the fate of Greece is to stay in the eurozone. According to him, no one in the Eurogroup does not want to Athens left the euro zone. He emphasized that France is ready at any time to resume talks with Greece.

Program financial assistance provided by the European creditors of Greece, expires on 30 June. On Saturday it took place in Brussels extraordinary meeting where the parties once again tried to reach an agreement between Greece and its creditors. After the failure of negotiations the Greek Minister left the meeting, his 18 colleagues have continued to sit without him. According to the French minister, the meeting will continue on the exit of Greece from the euro zone was not discussed.

On Saturday night, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced the decision to make the conditions of European lenders for financial assistance to Greece for a national referendum.
