The drastic changes of pricing on the world oil market will take place, most likely after 2025, said the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin, in an interview with TV channel “Russia-24».

« Judging by what is happening now – the price range of $ 50-60 per barrel, the volatility of the situation, but there is no stabilization, and more. It is necessary to take into account the investment in drilling, which are made in the Middle East, to take into account the shale revolution. I think that in the period from 2025 to 2030-2035 years, we get a fundamental change in the market pricing due to the fact that the resource base of shale oil will deteriorate, budgets producing countries, including OPEC, lay higher oil revenues . This will certainly lead to an increase in oil prices “, – quotes Interfax Sechin.

Earlier, speaking at a session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Sechin said that now only affect the pricing of the minimum cost of the oil companies, without taking into account the so-called full-cycle costs, including the costs of withdrawal operation of its exhaust holes and so on. The low price of oil, in its opinion, makes it impossible to maintain the necessary level of investment in the industry.

Sechin believes that by 2035 the price of oil in the world could rise to $ 175 per barrel.

At the same time he began his speech at the forum by stating the fact that the market outlook is not clear. “Looking back on a year ago, I must admit that is on the eve of the oil crisis, no one saw signs of its imminent attack. While the market no balance, no clarity to the prospects’ – began by Sechin.
