Russia rose from impoverished tribes – RYBINSKonLine

On the eve of the Day of Russian Federal State Statistics Service provided data on the ratio of cash income to subsistence level and the number of poor in the I quarter of 2015.

The number of poor in Russia in the first quarter 2015 increased by 15.7 percent year on year. Compared with the first quarter last year, the number of Russians with incomes below the subsistence level increased by 3.1 million, from 19.8 million to 22.9 million (excluding the data for the Crimea and Sevastopol)

The level of poverty in the country by April, immediately jumped to 15.9 percent compared to 13.8 in the I quarter of 2014.

The cost of living in the I quarter of 9662 amounted to RUB. In addition, for the able-bodied population – 10 404 rubles, 7916 and 9489 rubles for pensioners and children, respectively. In calculating the minimum subsistence level for nearly 50 percent take food, 25 – service, 25 – other items, including drugs.

Compared to IV quarter 2014 the living wage increased for the entire population – 17 3 per cent for the working population – 17.1 to 16.7 -on pensioners, children – 20.1. The cost of the consumer basket of food has increased by 17.9 percent.

Per capita incomes of Russians grew at a modest pace. According to the results of I quarter 2015 figure was 25.21 thousand rubles, an increase compared to the first quarter of 2014 by 11 percent to 22.7 thousand rubles.

According to the Yaroslavl territorial department of statistics, in January-March 2015 cash income per capita amounted to field 22,194 rubles.

The average monthly wage in March 2015 was 25,491 rubles, which is only 5.3 percent higher than in March last year.

In the subsistence minimum in the I quarter of 2015 amounted to 8646 rubles – an increase of 18.4 percent for the year. At the same amount has increased and the consumer price index.

In Russia the average monthly salary of civil (the civil service) employees in the I quarter of 2015 amounted to 31 thousand rubles (96.7 percent of the I quarter of 2014), municipal employees – 34.7 thousand rubles (103.9 percent of the I quarter of 2014).

According to the I quarter of 2015, real wages in Russia fell by 8.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

The state authorities of the Russian Federation at the regional level (in the federal state authorities and state bodies of the Russian Federation) at the end of March 2015 was replaced by the post of the civil service 725.1 thousand people, or 43.3 percent of the total the number of employees in these bodies.

On the municipal service positions were occupied by 327.5 thousand people, or 66.1 percent of total employment in local government and election commissions of municipalities.
